5 Easy Steps on How to Root Your Android Phone
- Go to http://www.unlockroot.com/ and download their application (Don't worry it's safe, I promise)
- After you do, install and follow instructions
- Now go to your phone, Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging, click on it until a green arrow comes up
- Now connect your Android phone to the computer (with USB cable of course)
- After you do, there will be a message that states it is installing software (it automatically does this, comes straight from the company, so no worries)
- After it is good to go, open "unlock root" then click root
That's it you're rooted! It takes few seconds to root. Don't worry, you don't lose your information or mess up your phone. I believe you will lose your warranty if you take your Android to your phone company with some other issues that are not regarding software issues, but you can always open Unlockroot again and follow step 3 and 6, but instead of pressing root, press Unroot. There you're done... simple right?
